Get The Desk on your machine.

1. Move the app to Applications

Open the downloaded .dmg and drag The Desk UAE onto the Applications folder shown beside it.

2. Run one command in Terminal

Open Terminal (press ⌘ Space, type Terminal, press Return), then paste this and press Return:

   xattr -cr "/Applications/The Desk UAE.app"Copy

Do this before opening the app. If you have already tried and seen the “damaged” message, choose Cancel — not Move to Bin — then run the command.

3. Open The Desk

Launch it from Applications as usual. You only need to do this once; updates will not ask again.

What that command does: when a browser downloads a file, macOS tags it as coming from the internet, and Gatekeeper checks that tag before allowing the app to run. The command removes the tag. We are working on an Apple-signed build so this step goes away.
